AsEllis prepares to leave Tucson for his freshman year at an East Coast prepschool, he also faces separating from his flaky, new age mother and the onlyreal father he has ever known: Goat Man.
Fifteen-year-old Ellis isgetting ready to leave his luxurious home in the foothills of Tucson for hisfreshman year at Gates Academy, an East Coast prep school. This means leavingbehind Wendy, his flaky, new age mother and the only real father he has everknown, Goat Man.
Having a self-absorbed New Age mother (Vera Farmiga)and an estranged father (Ty Burrell) means Ellis (Graham Phillips) has grown uprelying on an unconventional guardian: the goat-trekking sage, Goat Man (DavidDuchovny). So when Ellis leaves the alternative ways of his desert home for astuffy East Coast prep school, changes are in store for everyone.
